Short answer
Throughout the transmission, MondialFax reports the status of your fax in real time. From the moment your document is picked up to the moment it is received, the status follows the actual state of the transmission.
You can also download your acknowledgment of receipt as a PDF.
Real-time status
After confirmation, a status page follows your fax step by step: validated, queued, being sent, then sent — or failed, with the reason when it is known. You also receive the acknowledgment of your request by email, with the link to this page.
The transmission receipt
Once the fax has gone through successfully, a PDF transmission receipt can be downloaded from the status page. It sets out the sender, the recipient, the number, the subject, and the date and time of the send.
Keep it with a copy of the document sent: it is the two together that carry weight on the day a deadline is disputed.
What the receipt proves
A transmission receipt establishes that a call reached the number given, on a given date and at a given time, and that the pages went through. It proves neither the content of those pages nor that anyone read them: for an act that requires proof of content, registered mail remains the benchmark.
Key points
